Founded in 2000, Springboard International Bilingual School (SIBS) is a future-oriented K-12 international bilingual school. Located in Houshayu, Shunyi District, Beijing, the school owns its campus and offers a complete progression of grade levels, providing students from kindergarten through high school with a continuous, stable learning environment that combines academic challenge with genuine care.
The school insists on small class sizes, paying attention to every student's learning style, personality, and pace of growth. School History
Beijing Juncheng School was founded in 2000. Its development has unfolded in two stages. In its first decade, the school excelled as a leading Chinese-as-a-foreign-language school in Beijing, helping many international students gain admission to China's top universities and colleges. In its second decade, beginning in 2010, the school established its campus in Houshayu, Shunyi District, Beijing, becoming a K-12 school offering a global curriculum to both Chinese and international students. Since then, a great number of graduates have gone on to renowned high schools and first-class universities around the world — including leading Chinese institutions such as Peking University, Tsinghua University, and Renmin University of China. Now entering its third decade, the school is committed to building itself into a multilingual and technology-focused school, cultivating future talent to support China's drive toward genuine strength and leadership.
After twenty years of development, the school has become a force in global education, standing proudly among the strong cluster of private schools in Beijing's famous Shunyi Central Villa District. It has earned a solid reputation for its effective multilingual teaching system and American-standard curriculum delivered by outstanding international faculty. Founding Principal Ms. Zhang Aijun has always upheld the principle of solid, steady school management, working toward the goal of building a century-old school — making this one school strong, excellent, and refined.
The school today holds complete qualifications for global education and school operation, including licenses from the Beijing Municipal Education Commission and the Shunyi District Education Bureau to operate a kindergarten, an ordinary primary school, a junior high school, and a senior high school; approval to enroll international students; and qualifications to employ foreign experts approved by the Beijing Municipal Government, the Public Security Bureau, and the Education Commission. SIBS has earned accreditation from the US-based Cognia, authorization from the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO), BTEC Sports certification from the UK, and Advanced Placement (AP) status from the US College Board, with CEEB code 694107.
